The ground floor reception areas are the centrepiece of Villa Marie-Louise. The dining room and lounge are in reality one very large room measuring 11m x 6m which opens out onto a beautiful west facing sun terrace with table, chairs and a large parasol.

Inside, there are two dining tables available offering 8 and 4 seats respectively. The tables can be put together or split depending on whether you prefer the adults and children to eat separately.  The dining table is overlooked by an ornate fireplace containing a traditional 'chauffage de bois', so its warm and cosy at the table throughout the day. There are access doors to the kitchen and hallway, A WC completes the picture on the ground floor.

From the dining area, there are two french doors that lead onto the sun terrace and views of the village square.

The dining room comes equipped with two full dining sets, and everything that you will need for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A selection of various glasses and coffee and tea-cups complete the picture.

Adjoined by the dining room, there is seating for 8 adults in the lounge area, with a number of stools and pillows if more people want to sit in the lounge and watch a movie. The room comes with 3 sofas, a table, a small reading area with its own light in an alcove in the corner of the room, TV, fridge and DVD player / music player. The wifi router is also located here along with a bookcase filled with French and English books and magazines. The room is filled with light during the day with windows on 2 sides, and a further pair of french doors leading out onto the sun terrace.

The entire reception area encompassing the lounge and dining room is a great family space. While the adults can enjoy an extended dinner next to the cosy fireplace, they can keep an eye on the children in the lounge who could be watching TV, listening to music or playing games.

Pictures are far better at describing the area, so we'll let the images do the talking. We've prepared a few floorplans, so you can get your head around the space. Measurements are approximate.

Entering the front door of the property, the kitchen is straight ahead, the reception areas on the left and a WC to the right.

There is a cupboard for shoe storage, and a coat rack which works it way up the staircase.

Stripped hardwood stairs lead up to the first and second floors where the bedrooms and family bathroom are located. A small door leads down into the cellar. You good a good idea of the size of the house just be peering upwards from the ground floor.

The extensive sun terrace is a great place to grab some sun if you fancy taking a break from the pistes.

Three french doors open out to the sun terrace from the lounge and dining area. There are 8 plastic chairs, a wooden table and a large parasol - it's the perfect place to grab your lunch before heading back onto the slopes.
